The NORTEC Network Partner gives us the opportunity to present the offer of companies associated in the Metal Processing Cluster, to establish cooperation with business partners from Northern Europe, especially from Germany and Scandinavia and open up new opportunities for development says Sebastian Rynkiewicz, coordinator of MPC. Metal Processing Cluster brings together over 70 companies from metal branch in the fields of service, production and trade, but also universities, business support organizations and self-government authorities mainly in the North-Eastern region of Poland. They are national and global leaders with great innovative potential for development. The companies associated within the cluster employ over 7500 employees and have high export potential, near 40% of their revenues are from foreign sale and they are present on 100 markets all over the world. In 10 years of activity Metal Processing Cluster gained the status of Key National Cluster from the Minister of Economy of Republic of Poland in 2015 and was awarded prestigious title of Podlaskie Business Ambassador in 2016.MPC invites companies for cooperation within the branch, shares knowledge and organize joint actions and trainings. Specialization of the cluster is based on: - manufacture of machinery and agriculture equipment, equipment for the food industry, - manufacture for the healthcare sector, production of implants, instruments for orthopedics and traumatology, - manufacture of equipment for the yachting industry, - manufacture of machinery and equipment for the building industry, producing metal constructions, - manufacture of metal furniture, - manufacture of machinery and equipment mechanical parts related with metalworking, - range of specialized cooperative and subcontracting services - consulting, IT and training services supporting the business The product diversity of cluster companies, used technologies, experienced engineering staff enables implementation of specialized cooperative contracts and services in the metal working. The clusterisinterested in projects implementation for growth competence and innovation in cluster, improve the competence of employees of the cluster, promotion of vocationaleducation, flow of knowledge between member companies, creation of common products cluster, raisingfunds for R & D and internationalization of the cluster, strengthening cooperation within cluster companies and outside the cluster in the machining of metal.

The Eastern Metalworking Cluster was established in 2009 and is located in the eastern region of Poland. East Metalworking Cluster is a group 80 enterprises from metal industry, which operate in three voivodeships: Lubelskie, Podkarpackie and Świętokrzyskie. Coordinator of the cluster is Regional Club of Technology and Rationalization in Lublin.Main objectives of the Cluster that raising the competitiveness of economy region through common cooperation of cluster members, increasing the competitiveness and innovations of metalworking companies, building economy connections between companies and R&D institutions and achieve the synergy effect.
